The Piece Hall, Halifax at Dawn

SATURDAY

The first day of the Christmas holidays and I was up at an ungodly hour to join the pre-dawn scrum at M&S in Halifax.

When I arrived at 7:10 am there was a queue for the car park and people were already circling looking for spaces. I managed to park close by in the street.

I was out by 7:45 am and once I had off-loaded the bags nipped into the Piece Hall to get a few shots of the empty building.

I then headed to Morrisons to get some bits and pieces still on the shopping list, washed the car and home for breakfast by 8:30 am
