Visits

We headed West again today to see Mum in Law before Christmas. The joy of a road trip as a three was very much in evidence and the three of us chatted and sang as we changed formation with the driver for the six hours duration.
The visit was lovely and although she was more confused than last time, Grandma was in good spirits. Her and Him Outdoors fell asleep holding hands so we left them for a while.
We popped into the lovely Shrewsbury for the last of the pressie shopping and ate in a lovely little French creperie. Home via the rest of that side of the family for a quick present swap and we even did the food shop as we hit home!
Most of the rest of Lincoln had the same idea, though and Tesco was the place to be at 9:30 on a Friday night! Pity the management hadn’t planned for it as well as they could have!
