Clusterf**k: a complex and utterly disordered and mismanaged situation : a muddled mess.

A fitting description of my current working situation.
I’ve studied the directory looking for the ‘Planning Office’, apparently we don’t have one and that may go a long way towards explaining the chaotic mess I’m working through.
It is true that long service in the Military may make you appear ‘institutionalised’, I tend to think that it’s just a title given to a group of people who in their previous profession were used to operating as a cohesive unit, working towards a common goal with clear objectives. We used the acronym SMART

Timescale
What we have now is different departments all shouting that their need is greatest and an out of touch structure in place that decides that major works will be undertaken simultaneously during one of the busiest periods.
