Before the rain came...

Stopped off at the car park near Latrigg again earlier en route to Keswick in the hope of getting a little walk with Bonnie and today's blip. I'd already got soaked earlier and didn't want to get wet again so didn't venture too far from the car. We took a different path this time for a change and after a short while I noticed the clouds over Skiddaw which were getting very black so we quickly turned around and went back to the car just as the heavens opened. That silver blob in the middle is my car!

On the way back from Keswick the road was blocked with a coming together of two buses so had to turn back and find an alternative route. The rain had stopped by then and as the sun was going down behind the fells it was bathing Skiddaw in a rich warm glow. I was hoping and praying that it would still be like that when I got to the layby so I could blip it, but alas by the time I was able to stop it had gone!

Lots of flooded fields around and I've had to drive through some flooded roads after yesterday's rain.
