Night in the City

We are in the City Centre this evening for an Ex Cathedra concert at St Pauls in the Jewellery Quarter. Looking forward to a beautifully atmospheric candlelit concert. It’s a little drizzly tonight which is doing lovely things with the lights around the church.

Dad got all excited today as he had a letter telling him his gas and electric direct debit was to be halved. We thought it was a bit strange so we phoned up. They have made a major cock up with lots of customers. In actual fact, dad had had to more than double his monthly payment as they have allowed his account to get into the red. I am not impressed.
