A little foggy

We set off in fog and met fog intermittently all the way down south. But otherwise the journey was not bad at all. A fair bit of traffic, but we were lucky and did not come upon any holdups.

We have had a brief visit to our daughter's to drop off perishables. The grandchildren were very taken with the little books that I gave them as Christmas cards - I had to adopt very tiny writing to write greetings in them.

Now we are settled in our usual Premier Inn. Big birthday for a little girl tomorrow and Gordon is really looking forward to seeing the Star Wars film with the two older girls.
