MT Building RAF Castle Camps - Asbestos Anybody?

So, that's the Christmas shopping done... we went off to Sainsbury's this morning earlier than we would normally go hoping to avoid the crowds. It would seem that everyone else had the same idea but the experience was relatively quick.

On the way home we had a drive around to Camps End to see what progress is being made with the 'barn conversion'. The roof material has now been taken off for disposal, almost certainly asbestos which was commonly used for these sort of buildings. Since the light today is so dull and drab I finished this in B & W.

I've just heard that there has been another terrible accident on the 1307 between Linton and Horseheath, the dual-carriageway is closed in both directions and there has been a death.  Some poor family is about to get some very bad news... so sad.
