festive oranges

I cycled up to Dunscore this morning to help make the Christingles for the afternoon service on Christmas Eve. You can read more about Christingles HERE.

It's rather a gloomy day weather-wise, and on my calendar the day length is just the same as yesterday - it takes a while for things to change. Pleasingly, the days will begin to lengthen on Monday (Christmas Day!) when we will get 7 whole hours of sunlight. From there it's onwards and upwards.

D and I are going out tonight to see the Bookshop Band perform at a friend's house. very exciting!
