Current project

This cross stitch kit of Eeyore is nearly complete.  I bought it many years ago, when Mum was still alive, but getting increasing problems with dementia.  She had been a very keen stitcher (cross stitching, bobbin lace, crewel amongst other things), and I hoped to stimulate her.  But it was over-ambitious - it's quite a complex project with many half and quarter stitches.  She did just a few bits, in a very haphazard way, and with much input from me. 

After she died, it was put away, and I found it again last year.  I had to take out what mum had done, and restart, but now it is almost finished.  And I find I have another matching kit in my cupboard.  I've no idea when, or by whom, it was bought, but I see it is marked "exclusive to Woolworth's", which dates it!  So I'll do that next, and put them in matching frames, hopefully in time for Robin's second birthday.
