Oyster card from the past

The forthcoming trip to London necessitates the searching for my old Oyster card. I hope that 1) this card still works (and maybe there will be some money on it...) and 2) that Oyster cards are still in use in London.

Update - Oyster cards are still used and there was £10 of credit on the card!!
