Merry Christmas! Abstract Thursday 130

This isn’t actually a card. Here in the South, summers can be brutal. Before electricity and AC were affordable for everyone, cardboard fans with wooden handles were common and were provided by merchants, funeral homes, etc. This is a very old one that was provided by a funeral home, according to the back. Not sure how to date it, but the phone number on the back is simply 3 numbers. I’m thinking the 1950’s or earlier. I have messed with it to make it more abstract.
