Great Expectations

One of my favourite bits of the Land - as you walk up from the bottom part, you see this fairyland peeking through the gap in the stone wall which divides the two tapadas. Look at that pink schist... And there are the olive trees that Julia and I worked on in the hot summer, and the best place to find wild asparagus whenever it rains. And the castle behind.

Looking over the house that the rest of the family will stay in, and making plans... Hoping to leave early tomorrow for Faro to help ferry them here. Still struggling with a very annoying cough and subsequent lack of sleep.
