Sun Setting

This is the best picture I can do to celebrate the Winter Solstice today. It was a dark dull sky all day with this little splash of colour at 14.45pm as the sun started to go down over the buildings. The longest night of the year to bring in the new winter season until March next year. A lovely time of year.
I made a baby blanket for a friend and their baby boy cane yesterday on the eve of the solstice. A Christmas baby at a joyous time. Congratulations to them. It wasn't due until 9th the of January but obviously couldn't wait haha.
