Best Utility Room Ever

This is the only photo I took today. Mr K and I were catching up with the Grand Designs House of the Year and Kevin McCloud was in a utility room in London which had everything displayed on a peg board.
It looked fabulous and I told suggested to Mr K that we should do something similar in ours and took the photo for reference.
Mr Tescos arrived in the middle of the programme with lots of our Christmas goodies. Only one thing unsuitably substituted - white stilton with apricots (which we already had in the order) instead of white stilton with mango and ginger (which I can eat by the shovel full and must have!!!
And one thing with too short a shelf life - coleslaw which we'd have to eat by Friday.
Not bad!!
Now I just need to do a list for the things I need to get on Saturday. And then stick to it!!
Today was a Groundhog day of tidying, sorting, watching TV and listening to Miss E cough, sniff and moan. She is pretty poorly bless her and is a rubbish patient!!
I suggested that she try and be a bit braver and more positive and then she might not feel as bad. She has not taken that well and is now squealing sorry every time she coughs, trying not to cough, wailing that she's sorry and can't help it, working herself up into a proper frenzy and being sorry and wailing and being sorry and sorry Mummy, sorry Mummy, sorry Mummy!!!!!!!!
Oh my God!!!! I just suggested a little more positive thinking.
I told her not to worry about being brave and that it's OK to be poorly and she'll be better in a few days.
God help us if she ever has anything serious wrong with her.
She could take inspiration from Miss L's lovely friend Miss M who's currently fighting leukaemia. She wants to help others in the same situation and has set up a Just Giving page raising funds for CLIC Sergent. Please have a look and donate for this fantastic cause.
She's only seven. Imagine.
