From Here to Eternity

This is the cove where the love scene of From Here to Eternity was filmed. It was a difficult hike down to this area so we viewed it from the top of the cliffs......but you can see a few brave souls who ventured down there. Of course there were warnings everywhere to stay behind the fence at the top of the cliffs.....but some people need to have the extra adventure. Not me.

We rented a car today for a hike to the top of a crater and then a trip to Costco for more snacks for the condo.....we drove around the Island a little and saw the famous Blow Hole and this famous cove & beach. Then window shopping tonight at the mall.

The kids got stuck in the elevator for an hours tonight.....very scary for them.....but good in the long run because they gave us one more night in one of our condos. (We were going to have to move to another hotel and the general manager knew that.....so he said to compensate for the stress on the kids, we could keep the room one more night.....and it is FREE too)......amazing how things work out sometime.
