A much needed day off didn't start well with the news that my friend's mum had passed away in the early hours.  I then had to leave my car at the garage, so plans to do an early supermarket shop were thwarted.  By the time I got there early afternoon the place was mobbed!  I'm definitely not going near this weekend.  Then I was called the Christmas Grinch because I didn't want to put a tree up.  Bah Humbug!  Daughter and grandchildren turned up and we dug out some old trees.  Time spent reminiscing about old decorations found in a box. The blip is of a tree ornament made by friend H - she made glittery cards for all the choir and put these inside. Extra is a star bauble I particularly like.  Evening spent in pub with friends - strange game going on - put 2p coins between your bum cheeks (sorry!) and get across the room and drop the money into a bucket - few succeeded, but R won £20!
