(old) chestnuts … open fire ....

We (four fifths of the band) spend the day, rehearsing and recording.

We have a gig at the end of January and are trying out a couple of new songs as well as trying to remember the old ones.  Even we have to do requests.

We’re also halfway through recording a new CD for our German tour next summer.  This is Neil listening back to the morning’s effort.  

Thanks to the internet and ‘we transfer’ in particular, a couple of almost finished new songs whizz up to Leicester, via ‘the cloud’, so that the absent band member can add some tasteful guitar licks.  Simples.
