Dominic and the black cat

Today's the day ........................ to adopt

A damp and foggy day today but surprisingly mild as we took Dominic for a walk in the grounds of Sizergh Castle, near Kendal.

The walled garden where the fruit and vegetables will be grown next year was resting for the winter.  This is where Charlie, the black cat, lives in one of the outbuildings.  He's very well looked after by the gardeners - with a heated blanket on his bed and as much food as he can eat.

He and Dominic took an instant liking to each other and Charlie came with us on our walk.  Somehow, you would have sworn they'd always known each other ........................
