Christmas traditions....

We made a spontaneous decision to visit today. I wanted to see the Traditions Of Christmas exhibition. I am SO delighted we went even though we couldn't leave here until after midday.  The trees in the rooms are just magnificent, in their size and beautiful decoration. The floral displays were perfect, and at the time we got there, the lighting made everything really amazing!

This is Lady Baillie's drawing room and the trees are covered in Christmas traditions written and posted by the many hundreds of visitors this year. (Excuse the angle of the tree on the right....!)

We ran out of time today. I could have stayed for hours!  We will have to return soon.

The only thing missing was...Lala. And I do not hold anything against her for that.....we were spontaneous!
