Surprise!

It was raining when we went to bed and I heard the rain during the night, so it was quite a surprise this morning to wake up to a winter wonderland!  Our neighbour said her husband drove out around 6:00 this morning and the snow was just starting.  When I got up just before 7:00, there was about 2 1/2 inches, and when I went out to shovel around 9:00, there was about 4 inches.  There's a snowfall warning, but it's changed to sleet now, so maybe we won't get quite as much as forecast.
The power was off for a couple of hours, so I thought I'd better post a quick blip just in case it goes off again.  I liked the way the snow had accumulated on the piles of logs and rocks and the wire on top of them.  Extra:  I haven't been feeling 100% and told G yesterday that I really need some exercise.  I got some today, and the new snow shovel works well!
