Skunk Cabbage

Shopping trip to the wonderful venison butcher in Ightham and stopped to walk around the Ivy Hatch nature reserve on the way back.  . Wished I had taken a picture in the butchers, because the nature reserve was a bit of a disappointment.  Apparently it looks stunning in the spring when skunk cabbage and bluebells vie for space. I suspect these stalks belong to the skunk cabbage.
