Waiting...

On a branch overlooking our pond...she allowed me to get really close, all the while listening intently to another Red-shouldered hawk who was calling, but out of my sight. I'm assuming it was her mate since I often see them flying from tree to tree, obviously together. Check the *extra* for another photo of her. :)
