Conker Championship preparations - update #4

Yesterday I was getting concerned as most of the conkers were still on the tree. Today it is windy ... and raining conkers. I need danger money! I was bending down collecting conkers when one fell on my back with quite a bit of force, ouch. Then I managed to put my arm in the nettles and it is now all bumpy.

Anyway, I managed to collect half a bucket full and we now have enough for the conker championship on Sunday. If you view large you can see the names of the champions for the last five years. I also like the reflections of the conkers in the trophy ... and you can see me too!

Only two days to go. The weather forecast for Sunday is good, let's hope it stays that way! Watch this space.
