Quick as a flash

We moved on today and are now at another Orbitur campsite, this time near Figueira da Foz. The last site was good but this one may be even better... offering, as it does, direct access to the beach and forest. There is a village about 1k away with a market hall and some bars/cafés/restaurants and it is around 7k into town, with a Lidl and an E.Leclerc amongst others for supermarket shopping.

We may stay for two weeks but as the computer has yet to be updated with 2018 prices, we have paid for one week.

We settled in, had lunch and then took Nell on the beach, walking along to the village and got into conversation with some other Brits. Wandering back by the road it was half past four by the time we got back but that did not stop us from partaking of afternoon coffee and custard tarts. By the time they were consumed I noticed that the sun was going down, and so we booted up once more and took Nell out again. We sat on a dune, watched the sun go down over the Atlantic, and waited for the green flash that did not come.
