Newlyn tableau
There were lots of dogs taking their owners along the seafront between Penzance and Newlyn this morning, but this was the first cat we spotted with its owner on a lead. I thought they'd arranged themselves very nicely in conjunction with the statue. I'd wanted to visit the Newlyn Gallery, so we walked from the bus station, but although the gallery is a very nice space I wasn't very thrilled with the art.
On a very grey morning Penzance looked like an equally grey place, but there were flashes of sunlight as we walked back. Unfortunately the sun failed to light up St Michaels Mount across the bay so I resisted taking a photo, even as a simple memory shot.
The highlight of our day was the journey back on the number 16 bus which took the higher level scenic route. On a blue sky day this would have been stunning.
