Winter plummage
It has been a very, very bonnie day here today.
So, for the first time in a while, I got dressed. Not that I've been wandering about in the scud for the past few weeks just that I have delved the depths of the 'working at home' wardrobe.
For those not in the know, this means that the most important decision is no longer about fashion or dress code or even does my bum look big in this.
No, it reduces to
a) is it clean?
b) is it comfy?
c) is it mine? (although this is optional)
d) hmmm, is it almost clean?
e) will anyone see me?
Anyway, as I said, today I put real clothes on and went out to a meeting and had lunch in a pub. It was all too much excitement. SO on the way home I had to stop and talk to this funny wee duck. Which my new toy tells me is a Red breasted Merganser.
I have huge respect and admiration for all those blippers like Brickmaker and Shy who take such great wildbird photographs. But I'm afraid my duck photos were crap, so I thought I'd stick in a sunset to distract you all.
