Beauty- It's there if you look for it!

It is so easy to receive and accept negative comments or observations as they are part of our daily diet of news and media. At times it is almost as if the good that happens, the acts of kindness, have to fight to be seen and acknowledged. There is a danger that we collude with the general narrative that all is not well here.  I was out for a stroll and spotted this little gem, hiding below some browning leaves - not ostentatious at all. In fact somewhat understated... yet beautiful in its simplicity nonetheless. It was there, but I had to look to find it. So it is with the daily grind.. we need to look beyond the white noise of the media, to take time to search out those moments of goodness, those acts of generosity, those people who seek to promote the welfare of the community and take pleasure when such goodness breaks through! They are true acts of restoration.
