Decorations....

....can be found all over uptown Charlotte, including this giant ornament! It adds such a festive feel to the city!
We went out to breakfast this morning then spent a couple hours exploring the areas we hadn’t walked through before. Returned to our hotel to check out, then took a cab ride to the airport and headed home. We only took carry on’s so didn’t have to stop at the baggage claim, but as we walked through that area I spotted the sportscaster (from one of our local stations) grabbing his suitcase from the carousel—we figured he’d been doing sideline interviews at the Charlotte game & must have been on our flight. He started walking in the same direction as we were, so I started talking to him about the game....he was so nice! Stood and talked to us for quite a bit! It was a really nice way to end the trip!! :))
