Last year's advent calendar. It was so magical that you kept it. But, this year, it is a victim of your over-hyped expectations and the fact that it holds no surprises. If you keep it, maybe in five years, or ten, its familiarity will generate affection and a sense of tradition. For now, though, it's at a low point and it's touch and go whether it survives until Christmas.
