Cheeky Monkey

Well, ok - squirrel - not many monkeys round here. 

We don't see many squirrels either. This is a young one, and very hungry.  He/she managed to extract the fat ball bit by bit, and didn't take any notice of me snapping away.

The  feeder is hanging on the kitchen window and is meant for the small birds.  Sometimes blackbirds try to peck at the contents by jumping up from the window sill. They must use more calories than they gain by this effort.
