Dawn at the Abbey

The frost came back last night and it was a beautiful morning when the dog and I set out for a walk. I’ve not been over to the Abbey for a while so we walked over the crunchy, frosted grass and past the farm to see the pink striped sky behind the Abbey tower. Saw deer again on the way home. It’s been lovely weather all day.

This evening I’m on a walkabout with friends to see those advent windows which have already been lit - 18 by nightfall. And then we’re gathering in one kind friend’s house for supper.
