Realms Of Wonder

I saw a moving castle. I saw a city in the sky. I saw Heidi's cottage. I saw the food stall where Chihiro's parents transformed into pigs. These and more of the locations created by the genius that is Hayao Miyazaki were on display at the Studio Ghibli: Architecture In Animation Exhibition at Abeno Harukas today. I had planned to visit an exhibition of Disney art at the Osaka Museum of Fine Arts just a few minutes walk from there afterwards but discovered, much to my chagrin, that it is closed on Mondays. So much for planning to save on train fares. Back again tomorrow, perhaps.
