Pink is all around.

This is a lovely tree planted right outside my bedroom window. I planted it to celebrate the birth of my second daughter. I think it is called forest pansy and is also sometimes know as a bleeding heart.

Early in spring it gets beautiful little pink flowers all over the branches. Then small leaves, shaped like little red hearts cover the tree. As time goes on the small red hearts grown into big heart shaped leaves, the size of a hand, and change colour to green by summer, come autumn they turn brown fall off and then it all starts again. It's lovely to watch.
