Winter sunset

A trip up to the Midlands today to visit family and distribute some presents ready for Christmas.  It seems everyone else had a similar idea, judging by the volume of traffic on the motorway;  although  there were no accidents we were aware of and a fairly normal level of roadworks, the journey was very slow.

We enjoyed a lovely sunset over the river, and later headed back down to London - a much quicker and easier journey than earlier in the day.
