A strutting moment...

... which managed to coincide with a drier period of the day.

Otherwise the day has been oriented towards the up-coming festivities. This included buying and installing a Christmas tree, currently being decorated by the master of ceremonies.

I have to say it is a period I would much prefer to sleep through. (Call me Scrooge or various other epithets - as I know people will. It is a just rather too much trouble for me!)
