Baubles

We visited the Botanics today. There are lots of fairy lights everywhere for a "magical botanical outdoor trail of light" according to the website! I thought some of them looked nice but others not so nice. I always like to visit the beech hedge and was a bit dismayed to find half of it coated in a wall of fairy lights. I suppose once it is dark you can no longer tell it is a beech hedge.

I bought a bird guide that covers Europe for our Finland trip! I have a large book but I am not carrying that in my luggage.
