It’s Beginning.......

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, at least in the Temple of Toast where this star shone brightly into the darkness of a morning 4 days before the shortest day of the year.

The sun also shone for a time on families out for a stroll in the Meadows before the clouds rolled in. But what did I care? I was out again for a Christmas lunch with daughter#1 and granddaughter, leaving His Lordship to a bowl of soup and the Sunday Papers. While he supped and engaged with the world’s problems we sipped and gossiped about other people and their problems. Never have 2+ hours passed so quickly.

A quick change of clothes and HL and I are out once more to neighbours for preprandial drinks. It is indeed feeling a lot like Christmas.
