Day 351/17. Another lousy weather day....

A damp cold day today gave me a chance to practice with my off-camera flash.
How do they get Roses to bloom in mid-December? What about all the heat and light energy being expended in those hot-houses to give us out of season flowers? Is that environmentally sound?
