Burford Brown egg

A beautiful, tasty egg from a happy chicken.

They are slightly smaller than the Cotswold Legbar egg I normally buy, but every bit as tasty.

As I couldn't get either recently I popped into a high end supermarket (who shall remain nameless) and bought half a dozen on their own brand high welfare eggs. I don't know what they feed their chickens on but the eggs were very poor.
