What a Day!

Lunch with our favorite adopted kids, friend S & her sweetie gave us our Christmas gifts. The most thoughtful presents ever! A Google Home Mini and Muskoka cottage 1000 piece puzzle for my soon to be retired hubby. She figured he would need someone to talk to while i am at work and the puzzle to keep him busy. The puzzle is the exact replica of the lake/cottages we stayed at with them. So perfect, plus lots of lovely other items for me, we are spoiled and very blessed to have these kind souls in our lives. The other photo is of the gifts my hubby received from coworkers as they all met for drinks to toast the holidays and his impending retirement. We ended our lovely friday by meeting good friends D&L at a local very British pub for dinner and drinks. What a great, warm & fuzzy day.
