Early Morning....

We had a feeling that we were in for a hot day. So Maisie and I were up and out of the door at 6.am. Here she is checking out interesting smells at the start of our river walk. The temperature got to 33C here in Marlborough today..... the country’s high. It was over 34C in the shade at our place. Stifling indoors even with the air conditioning working away. Helen, a friend, visited this morning before it got very hot. We are meant to be getting rain overnight. I won’t hold my breath!
