A book of Edinburgh Days

The Edinburgh Room at the Central Library, that's where I found this. On my Saturday visit. I do like to take Edinburgh Guide Books out and test them out to see how much of what they describe is still around. But this is a book of a different nature, about how an American lecturer on a sabbatical enjoyed several months staying in our city. He arrived in January - how do you think he got on?
