Father Christmas (Babbo Natale actually)

Today was Italians in Bournemouth Children’s Christmas Party.

Father Christmas was due to fly over from Lapland for an early visit to hand out prezzies. But he was held up by bad weather.

So my (not) better half was persuaded to stand in and did an admirable job, but couldn’t wait to get the costume off as he was boiling, especially with the silly big cushion strapped to tummy.

And the kids all loved it, and a few of the kids who knew him well, didn’t realise he was a fake
