Give us a kiss!

Some of you will remember that a few weeks ago I won a competition for the photo on our local telephone directory (see the photo in extras). Today Colin and I visited the farm and farmer who owns the cows. We took him a small canvas of the winning photo. He was most pleased to think his lovely cows would be on the directory cover. He said he told them and they were thrilled! We had a tour of the farm which was most interesting. Dairy herds are in decline unfortunately in Guernsey but this 240 strong herd is amazingly well cared for and loved. The dairy herder knows all their names just by looking at them! This one in the blip came over to see me. Did she want a kiss? No thanks!
