Uke time!

It’s that time of year again! Strumash ( or a small select sub group of them who felt up to braving the freezing cold conditions) were busking to raise money for Sense Scotland in Peebles this morning. Taking part were Bongo Bill on the cajon, Mrs Puke on the maracas, Puke on uke 1, thechimp on uke 2 and Ian on uke 3. I was singing.

As soon as we had finished busking we went for a quick coffee, mince pie and short bread and a warm up in the Tontine and then off to Dovecot court to join the Eddleston Voices choir for some Christmas entertainment and carol singing with the residents there.

This evening thechimp and I are going to see the Down Right Homespun Radio Company (DHRC) for their annual Amerrycana Christmas concert. After all that I think I will need a rest!
