Yet in thy dark streets shineth

Choir rehearsal this afternoon. Three sopranos are losing their voices , I’m one of them! Also I have a black eye where I fell into bed a couple of days ago, so had to get out the concealer stick this evening.
The Alto soloist is ill so our musical director/ conductor has stepped in to sing some of her parts, the organist can’t hear the soloists so the conductor is continuing to conduct whilst singing, and the tenors can’t hear where one of their entries should be.
I’m sure it’ll be alright on the night.
