Saturday: Menai Bridge ...

... the view from my great-grandparents' grave.
Lovely weather this morning, sunny blue sky, no wind and not bad for mid-December.
Picked up a couple of wreaths at Llangefni market, drove down the A5 stopping on the way to fill the car with diesel (119.9p per litre, 123.9p in our village!!) then parked up in Menai Woods and walked around the graves on Church Island.
Continued walking along the Belgian Prom to Waitrose, sadly my cousin wasn't there but I needed a few groceries then went home for nice cup of tea.
Had a very early morning chat (before 8am!!) with The Sailor who was boarding a train at Waterloo station after commencing a "live test" on a container ship ... xx

We had some very heavy wintry showers mid-afternoon and dramatic multiple rainbows.
MrD is working all weekend but a nice chicken curry waiting for him when he arrived home (prawn for me)
