Delivery
This morning we finally took delivery of some logs. We ordered them in September and they were due on Monday but the bad weather delayed them coming. They came on the back of a lorry and were thrown out on to the drive (see Extras) (unlike some 'posher' suppliers who provide them kiln dried on pallets). They seem to be mainly birch and ash logs. We spent an hour or so staking them in the wood store that Andy constructed. We are just learning how to stack them and are hoping that the whole lot doesn't collapse when we start to pull the logs out. Now I am planning to make some mince pies whilst we decorate the Christmas tree. A merry Saturday evening to you all x
