Old cottages, Killearn

I was out at the crack of nine this morning to drive to Killearn to get my hair cut. Another freezing cold day, so the snow and ice are still lying, but the sun is shining too.

Last night's concert was lovely - good music, beautiful setting, lots of familiar faces... and wine and hot mince pies at the interval. I thought the audience numbers might have been low because of the icy conditions, but it was a full house as usual.

Out again tonight, this time to dog-sit for my former neighbour in Drymen. Rubble isn't happy being left on his own, so he and I shall sit and watch the final of Strictly together.

I'm rooting for Joe....
