Starry night

No moon tonight so the stars showed up. I love the constellation of Orion so decided to try to photograph it. First shots were from inside the garden but the fence looked light (kitchen light on). Tried from outside the gate but the light from the houses by the river was even brighter - so back in the garden with the kitchen light off (the fence then hides the houses) Difficult to actually see anything on the camera screen so couldn't zoom - just aim in general direction at widest angle then crop  - the 'extra' is the result.   Exposure was Manual 6secs  at f4 ISO 3200 with Sony DSC90
